Research and Projects

My research engages critical colonial and postcolonial studies, economic anthropology, political ecology, and extractive cross disciplinary studies. I conducted studies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sweden, and now new frontiers, such as deep sea mining and space mining. I contribute to debates about the sustainability and suitability of the current paradigm adopted by the green transition away from fossil fuels, including through the generation of current and future inequalities. My research appeared in high-ranking journals, including Resources Policy, the Annals of the American Association of Geographers, Law and Social Inquiry, or Extractive Industries and Society.
